When practicing medicine of whatever kind, there must be a genuine - TopicsExpress

When practicing medicine of whatever kind, there must be a genuine intention to work towards healing. Patients come first. Thats why the intention of the practitioner/physician is so important. If the reason one studies medicine is only for the money and status, the compass is leading one down a very wrong path. Graduating in medicine (again, of whatever kind) is not about the satisfaction of the ego of having passed strenuous examinations that makes one feel superior to others. The noble intention of medicine is to exercise that compassion to provide relief to others for the ailment(s) they are going through. A piece of paper proves nothing. Its all about the heart. As this man (an MD himself) said: Everyone who enters a medical school seem to be able to pass after 5 years. No one seem to care for the patient. Many are only interested in the status and salary. Everyone is only thinking on how they can earn money as fast as they can. Everyone is being calculative on the amount of time they are working. Many are becoming “bodoh-sombong”, don’t know anything but don’t bother to find out and give stupid advises to patients!...Never do medicine for wrong reasons!
