When queried as to whether or not Pastor Bob Cox of the Glad Tidings Pentcostal Church in Cochrane, Ontario would take down his sign which reads Be an Organ Donor - donate your heart to Jesus, his reply was that while he respected my opinion and carefully considered my objection, he cannot let anyone else determine what he preaches or says as a leader. He took a small poll (I guess of his flock) to see if he is somehow blinded. His messages are a sacred trust. So, no, they wont be taking it down soon. He tells me that he is an organ donor himself and does not feel the sign cast any negative on that. He is only saying that it is important to give our lives to Jesus Christ. Perhaps it is just me then. My God and my Jesus, I feel, would have a different view. But, again, that is just me. Another reason I am seriously giving this whole Christianity thing another look. Jesus has certainly changed since I was a child. I dont know if this is the path I wish to follow.
