When responding to danger or other life risk situations many times - TopicsExpress

When responding to danger or other life risk situations many times we have to UNLOCK a person’s mind block when they freeze assisting them through a very emotional or mental obstacles in their life or possibly someone dealing with an over over-ride or PTSD. There are 4 simple principals to address. We must change what they see – have them look at you, turn them away, control what they see. We need to monitor what they hear – loud music, a person yelling or instigating the situations, a crowd cheering them on. We need to help them focus on their breathing to help them cool and calm down. We need to move them into a safe position – away from a roof top, out of a room, away from another person.
