When rich citizens or politicians of poor countries visit their donor countries and engage in wasteful expenditure or better yet, when these politicians and/or governments (of poor countries) engage in profligate domestic spending, the taxpayers in the donor countries will certainly at a point agitate against their own governments’ assistance to such people(poor countries). This implies that the ‘charity’ of rich countries and for that matter foreign aid, will not be there for us forever; our leaders, rich business gurus, technocrats, politicians, governments and all of us need to make the best out of what we have.
