When she was three, she wrote the y different from others, with curves on the edges and the Mrs D or Tee always put a red circle around it, expressed worried sentiments of concerns of dyslexia to her mom on Parents Days which inevitably ruined her weekends. But today, 20 years later, she woke up on the last day of June and lay curled in bed in the shape of a Y bent so out of proportion, raped of its innocence and originality, tainted, stained from the years since her three-year-old dyslexic (or defiant?) self, and all the worlds Mrs D or Tee were long-gone now, not a single shred of concern or even pity for the y, the gaping question mark she had become. #Yesterday #June
