When should you tell an employer you have cystic fibrosis? This is a very personal choice. If you are asked you should answer in a straightforward way, and make the distinction between a health issue and a disability. If necessary explain how cystic fibrosis would affect you in a work setting (see document below), and emphasise your abilities and why you are the right person for the job.
