When sleep hides its face temporarily I see it as a big sign that I Am has something to say and its a good time to get my attention! What I am seeing is that we (individual humanity) are missing the whole point. Like an iceberg what we see of ourselves (especially relevant) and those around us (less relevant) is the TIP of things! To awaken to our true identity should shift us into a higher gear, we should be able to see more of who we are and live a life that we have never before experienced. How do we know when this happens - its the difference between a caterpillar and a butterfly - we will know!!! There is so much talk of awakening, so much information and good advice, but for most of us we are still just being unhooked, which I guess is like escaping from the tomb of the caterpillar. In my awakening journey the one thing that has kept me on track is to follow my desires. This can seem anti social or self absorbed, it can seem even anti awakening (at least compared to the current awakening trends and thinking). However I am convinced this is the way home, certainly for me. The journey should I believe be easy, and fun, yet there are obstacles to following the heart, mostly self inflicted, but my experiences give me the perspective that these obstacles are merely minor blips and growing tools. So icebergs, we should all get a hold of this fact, there is so much more to us than we have ever imagined and in allowing ourselves the joy of listening to our voice within and following those heart pulls we will get the opportunity to be blown away by big us, life, and the universe this side of eternity :)
