When starting with a new trainer be wary of anyone that expects you to lift a minimum weight when it comes to resistance training e.g kettlebells, free weights etc. Ive seen and heard trainers making statements such as all my clients lift a minimum of 16kg for this exercise This philosophy is flawed as the whole concept of personal training is that requirements and expectations should be tailored to the individual and progressed as necessary thus avoiding injuries and promoting the best results possible.
