When supposed academicians write blunders,when they murder English in just simple sentences,when they cant differentiate between words that sounds alike but written differently(e.g,ear/here,former/formal,write/right etc),I take consolation in the fact that our president,GEJ who is a Ph.D holder is leading the way. It is one thing to make innocent mistakes,we all do. But some mistakes are just not innocent. They simply dont know it!i A fresh graduate might write,(not right) certain things and Ill probably hit your inbox to correct you or just shame you into doing same. But when a holder of M.Ba,M.Sc,Ph.D etc writes same blunder,I cant correct you the way I would a first degree. At that point,words fail me and Im reminded by such sacrilege how bastardized our educational sector is. These are the ones who cant hold any meaningful discourse or intellectual engagement with you.
