When the CAG was in Office he submitted elaborate reports on the 2 G, CWG and Coalgate scams, highlighting all the irregularities. After he retired from service the CAG wrote an elaborate book on all these scams and how the Government dealt with his reports when he was in service. But the issue in our Country is that, neither those elaborate reports submitted by the CAG when he was in service, nor the elaborate book he now wrote after retirement, will make any difference whatsoever to the Scams that were perpetrated. All the accused in these scams will eventually go Scot free because they will never be convicted during their lifetimes. One TV Channel is right now hotly debating this CAG’s book as if India’s life and future depended on it. It is a waste of time. All our Institutions have been irreparably damaged. Whichever Party is in power, it doesn’t matter. And if anyone questions these faulty systems he is branded as an ‘Anarchist’!
