When the CBN Governor was shouting few months ago about the missing money in the excess crude oil account. Many of us especially our brothers from the South East and South south almost crucified him the way they did to Jesus Christ. He was tagged an APC Central bank governor😉 who was out to attack the President without cause) una đŸ˜©see am? Am sure the man has been vindicated now. It will interest those our brothers that as at today, dollar exchanges for 185.00. At the black market, many thanks to the Transformation agenda of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and its Ambassadors in TAN. Hahaha! Seems many of us dont understand the effects of the fall in oil price at the international market. We shall understand it better by next month when we begin to feel the effects in d prices of goods. According to economists, most states will not be able to pay workers salaries in the next few months. Only Lagos State accrdg to them might be able to survive this heat for now because the state has other sources of income. Many thanks to Obasanjo for siezing the funds /allocation meant for Lagos during his reign which made the then Governor of Lagos to look for other avenues of generating money for the state in an aggresive manner. Many people called Sen. Bola Tinubu, a stubborn man then, atleast he wasnt clueless. It was a difficult time for Lagosians but the state received awards abroad during this periods for being able to sustain herself, embark on projects and cleaning of the city. The good work was continued by the current Gov. Fashola. Today! Lagos is the envy of other states who are more blessed with oil. I pity states like Benue, Kogi, Plateau, Enugu, Ekiti, Yobe, Kaduna, Kwara, Abia, and all other states who largely depend on oil and federal allocations to survive. Long Live the fed. Republic of Nigeria.
