When the City of Indianapolis cancelled its Christmas tree - TopicsExpress

When the City of Indianapolis cancelled its Christmas tree recycling program late last year -- making Indy the only one of six major cities in the Midwest to eliminate such a program -- green-minded citizens & businesses stood up. Those included our valued #HECGreenBiz partners, GReNee, Julie L Rhodes Consulting, and GreenCycle of Indiana. Thanks to their efforts, and others, from **now till January 11th** Indy area residents will be able to drop off their Christmas trees -- for recycling -- in a designated area of the Teachers Treasures, Inc. parking lot at 1800 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46201.
