When the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 Samuel - TopicsExpress

When the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776 Samuel Adams said, We have this day restored the King to whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come. In 1772, four years before our Declaration of Independence was created, Adams wrote a document called, The Rights of the Colonists in which the freedoms and rights of all American people were defined. In this document, Samuel Adams said, The right to freedom is a gift of the Almighty... The rights of the colonists as Christians are best understood by reading and carefully studying the God-given rights clearly taught in the New Testament. Now tell me again where liberals, or anyone else, gets the notion that we were not founded and established as a Christian nation!
