When the Lord speaks He may come in ways that are unconventional to us. We have a tendency to always expect Him to speak only through channels that we are familiar with... a pastor, the Word, a mentor, our prayer closet. But when He wants to get our attention, to speak with us, to spend time with us He will do so however He likes. It may be a song on the radio echoing His voice singing over us assuring us of His love. The billboard on the side of the road may just be the confirmation weve been waiting for. A U-turn, STOP, one-way street sign may be the answer to the question weve been asking God. He is able to speak to us through everything. We just have to be open to it.Today challenge yourself to tune everything else out and listen for Him. He is speaking. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. ...God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Exodus 3:2-4)
