When the PF came into power, they only had 60 members of Parliament in the house. This did not put the ruling party in a better position when it came to passing laws which would suit them. Sata then decided to start buying the opposition MPs using tax payers money and promising them good jobs if they defected to the ruling party. At this juncture, he was reminded that the Country did not have money to manage the by-elections which would come forth. Without consultations from the stake holders as well as the Zambian citizens, Sata went on to removing subsidies from the Zambian people blackmailing them that he wanted to develop the Country yet this money was being channelled towards holding of by-elections and paying his campaign teams so that they could buy votes from poverty stricken citizens. On the other hand Sata played his cards smart by putting his relative Lombe Chibesakunda as Supreme Court Judge so that when it came to cases to do with nullifying the seats of the opposition she would not hesitate but nullify all of them that where before the courts of law. Because of all these manoeuvres, Sata has failed to come out to address the people of Zambia through a press conference due to fear of the fact that people would know that whatever is saying are just lies (ubufi), he may not even have the answers to questions which some journalists might pose to him. Zambia is a moving Ship without a captain for now and anytime we may plunge into the iceberg and sink just like in the Titanic. Sata and his poor planners spent billions of money on rebasing the currency, an exercise which did not add a single value to the currency. The currency keeps depreciating on a daily basis and the new notes fades away. Corruption is a norm in this government as its leaders are so arrogant to the investigative wings. Sata has also added the corruption by telling the investigative wings that he must be informed before any investigation is carried on any Minister.
