When the church is in decline, church agendas become more important than the adoration of Jesus Christ. Worship services lose their power, Christians lose their vision. Church programs become the purpose of her existence as agendas consume the time, talents, financial resources, and energies of the people. The church substitutes ritual and form for biblical worship. Services follow certain prescribed liturgies. Spontaneity and freedom of expression are often discouraged. The church needs a divine invasion. --Malcolm McDow & Alvin L.
