When the church was finally established, “the Lord added to the church daily, those being saved” – Acts 2:47. Therefore, the church (i.e. the Body of Christ – Col. 1:18, 24) is the one institution into which the Savior places ALL the saved. The church of Christ cost Almighty God His only begotten Son, and cost His Son His very life – Acts 20:28, which far exceeds the value of “silver and gold” – 1 Pet. 1:18-19.
