When the day of Pentecost had fully come, there were 120 left out of the 500, Jesus had appeared to. They were in one mind and one accord. Only those who are completely submitted to the Lord can make such a commitment. No activity or thing mattered as much as obedience to His Word. These were the ones who trembled at His word. They feared God! This remant that was left layed aside their dreams, ambitions, goals, and agendas. This created an atmosphere where they could be in unity. God wants to bring us into unity today, but we must layaside all else. Eventually hidden agendas will surface, just as it did with the rest of them. When there are hidden motives, relationships are developed on a superficial level. The outcome is shallow and nonproductive. God is still looking for those who tremble at His word. That is where true unity is found!!
