When the economic is booming, the demand of land is increasing dramatically, the urban poor come under an acute threaten of eviction. Few evictions scheme had have a long term effect on population movement to the city. Eviction is of often seen as the serious impact to the poor. It will damage not only physical i.e. houses but also economic such as their housing investment and social network. If the poor can negotiate with the land owner, land sharing is an alternative. Nonetheless, urban land price is always too expensive and only a few of land owner who want to negotiate, land sharing is always not possible; therefore, another alternative is relocation or resettlement. Notwithstanding, relocation has disadvantage because the new location which organized by relocated households or government is always far from the city center. It is difficult for the poor to maintain their job because the transportation cost is too high. Relocation also has an advantage. The poor may have a security of tenure to own a land title. From informal settlement, they will become formal settlement. If the financial support available the poor will use their title to improve their house and have better environment.
