When the evil men are the first to ring the bell of welcome, they will also be the first to chant the songs of goodbye. The men who thinks and act selfishly and impunitively, are the first people welcoming the new CP Dan Bature who took over from CP Tunde Ogunsakin yesterday. One thing that baffles me is that, each time a new CP is sent to the State, Rivers emperor and his allies sings love songs with an undertone of do my wish or I move for your redeployment. It happened with the present Acting IGP Suleiman Abba, CPs Mbu Joseph Mbu, Tunde Ogunsakin and now Dan Bature. Dan Bature should take into serious consideration the character of the Rivers emperor If I cant get my ways through to the controlling of the CPs sent to the State, I will sing songs of redeployment. This character is evident in the series of protest organised against AIG Mbu Joseph Mbu which nearly played out with Tunde Ogunsakin. CP Dan Bature, welcome but learn from your predecessors so as to avoid falling a victim of circumstances. Remember, all your successive predecessors have been elevated to the next level because they stood for the profession. Once again, welcome and may God help you to be faithful in the unbiased discharge of your duties.
