When the great Jachi vacated the hot seat it came to the Muchenje - TopicsExpress

When the great Jachi vacated the hot seat it came to the Muchenje family . I stand to be corrected but i am sure i heard that mai Muchenje had acted in some capacity as the school head before she was senator . If thats not true i hope i havent offended anyone on that note. However i am certain that Mr Steven Muchenje was the man in charge of the college after Mr Chinamasa . The un assuming accounting master was a logical choice especially if Mr Chinamasa had been asked for a recommendation . I know Mr Muchenje , popularly known as baba Reggie during our days but hwenjo to the later generations, as being capable of handling any situation in his soft diplomatic voice and in deed the man has a quicksilver mind sharpened by years of balancing the credits to debits and diplomacy is his game. He carried on elaborate empire building feats that had been born during the Chinamasa era tho turned into fruition during another era. Kutama was a great beneficiary of Mr Muchenjes organizational skills. I for one know for certain instances when Jachi hosted successful events and the organisational force behind the scenes being non other than Muchenje . However it is clear that though he disliked indiscipline as much as any authority , he was not made of the same ruthless stuff that required one to be on top of disciplinary issues the way Mr Chirau or Mr Chinamasa did. I hear that during Mr Muchenjes era, they disciplined a certain youngster. His father, an army general wasnt pleased and decided to pay the school a visit . When news of the generals arrival filtered to the teaching staff , they all ran helter skelter . They ran like terrified Mickey mice in the face of Tom cat . Do u think anybody dared to rebuke the generals son after this? To bring out exactly what i found and understood to be the mentality of students who blossomed under Mr Muchenjes reign i have an apparently brilliant young man who goes by the Facebook name of Tere Rusir . I have nothing against the fellow Koba 1998 -2003. He started life at Kutama during Mr Chinamasas decline but finished during Mr Muchenjes era. He just happens to be an explanation of how come Kutama has now started to resemble a rundown prison more than a school, defaced and graffiti layered . He seems to have the sort of mind that Freud would have a field day with. I will leave you to make up your minds about how and why the history, culture and ethos of the college has so changed visibly exemplified by what results are coming out. When these guys were in form 2 ie 1999 , not neccesarily my friend Tere Rusir(although it was in his class) , they had the audacity to switch off lights during study and foddled and otherwise harass a female teacher who had walked into the class during study time. Well to get to my friend, i will copy word for word what he has posted on some Koba forum. Kurova vapfanha ndokuaccepter defeat manje...madharaanga asina staira mhani awo... So many targets pakoraz apo if you got hump wabhoikana ... I remember tiri maform 4 (ie 2001) takanonokerwa kupuhwa madisk afood kudhinso uko tikapinda mudhinso mevapfanha vaidya tikabvuta kasambo kavaidya zvese nechingwa tikashamura kuhosteri neloot... Kuhosteri anaboys pavaifizuka vaitora rekeni vorova mawindow awo , kana kucurler pafloor kumaback shangi emagita muhosteri... Kumaclass room uko anaboys pavaisada study vakaitira tsvina pafloor... Not very glamorous but hapana airova vapfanha nebroom stick. Kana vaiva neproblem naJachi or authority marekeni anga ariko wani , mamachisi awo for pyrotechnics and there were like 120 sources of faeces mustream umo pakashaya akalayer one pamusuwo peoffice yaJachi here. This to me is taking juvenile delinquency to an all new high. Yes the fellow can have 20points at A level and will be on an unequivocal road to be learned but not educated. How can he honestly subscribe to malicious injury to property and arson as acceptable at Kutama ? I hear the shank room had brilliant Piccasoic works done in shit . I know there are better psychologists amongst yourselves but i doubt if you can see any positive in this shit scheming generation. Without doubt Mr Chinamasas legacy of accepting inferior students who are well connected politically continued. With Mr Muchenje we heard of a Kutama flying high in sports and honestly the academic records were within the acceptable margins and outstanding in instances . I remember talking to a Koba volleyball team that was on its way to South Africa during this period and they had a marvellous relationship with Mr muchenje. I think Hwenjo left during the tumultuous 2008 with a record not as brilliant as Jachis but in comparison much better than what later transpired.
