When the mandate of heaven is taken away, tell-tale signs will appear signifying time for a new dynasty to rise. Many signs have appeared; the xenophobia, the protests, the on-line liberal expressions. Yet, popular conservatives supporting the PAP labels the liberals with disparaging name, calling us ingrates. Sure. The PAP founders got rid of the communists, got industrialists in and developed Singapore from a post-colonial prosperous city-state into a metropolis with a little bit of culture which will soon be obliterated with the proliferation of strange faces from far away lands. They pay themselves so handsomely for it, they say its to attract talents and to prevent corruption. They team up with the law. They sue commoners earning fractions of fractions of fractions of what they earn like royalty executing peasants for disrespect in ancient Chinese courts. This is why the mandate of heaven is falling apart. They have a contradicting system of democracy, or authoritarianism, of liberal immigration system, or nationalism, of freedom of expression, or oppression, of working with the free world, or working with capitalist-communist China, of first-world living standards, third-world politics.
