When the master men and master women powerlifting championships are combined, Id like to see the meet scheduled in mid-June, thereby keeping the date traditionally used by the master women. As things stand, master men lift two weeks after the IPF Masters World Bench Press Championships. For five years Ive juggled this two-week turnaround. Its tough. If the master men and master women had their combined powerlifting championship in mid-June, that would allow a reasonable turnaround for master men who compete in both championships.
