When the mind is going faster than the body processes, you are in - TopicsExpress

When the mind is going faster than the body processes, you are in a disconnect from your internal organs. That is the beginning of any illness. Mind going faster is a sign that you need to slow down with some deep breathing. While doing this, actively try to recall times when you were relaxed, that your mind has filed, and hit play. When you are going to fast, you are blocking your bodies ability to heal itself. I dont mean the big healings, as from a disease, or grievous injury... I just mean the millions of tiny internal healings of day to day life. The blockage has cumulative effect. Thus causing more problems, etc. Practicing a daily meditation is probably the most significant thing you can do on a daily basis to keep your system balanced. And out of stress. It is the stress that kills. Slowly. Systematically. Surely. When you sit down to meditate, a typical fault is to try and suppress certain thoughts. Or try to physically slow your body down. Slow your mind down and it will slow your body down. Dont try to suppress thoughts. Let them Strut their hour or two upon the stage . That is your sub- conscious telling you that something needs to be looked at. Let the thoughts flow through, addressing them when necessary, and then get right back to your meditations. NO HURRY. People ask, What do I do in a meditation? How do I go about the process? Every one has that same reaction when they start. What I did, was write down something and memorized it. Rote. then I start reciting it to myself (at a normal speed) and the physical act of reciting will slow you down. That is a laborious way to get into a meditative state, but it is a sure and certain way. Here is one my entry recitations: I breathe white light into my body, following its progress, in my mind into the various areas of my body. I see in my mind, this happening. I do this two or three, or as many times as you want. But only so long as you feel benefit, or lack of a sensation of being bored. Then if I am still not quite on board, I start this one. I breathe white light into my body. It forms as a white mist at the base of my spine. As I hold my breath, I see it climb up the hollow core of my spine, scraping and cleaning, lifting and loosening toxins and debris, and I breath them out in the form a dark cloud. I picture the movie The Green Mile with Tom Hanks. The healer spewing the dark cloud of disease out like a flock of black insects. I do that three times, and then recite to yourself: As I leave that image, I see there is enough white left behind to work my return from within. I feel. And then send love and gratitude to my spine and the white light. If that makes you feel silly about the idea of thanking your spine, just remember that it has worked for you, day and night, 24/7 every day of your life, and never asked anything but room and board. Gratitude is the important emotion you can feel. It is absolutely necessary for any kind of healing to begin. Picture the spine or any internal organ, as a street urchin with their hand out to you because they are hungry. By not acknowledging them, or slapping their hand away, you create what? Anger, resentment, sadness? None of those are the state of mind you want any of your internal organs to be in. A recent discovery (Dr Candis Perts NY times best seller) shows that all the internal organs create messenger molecules and also have docking ports for the messenger molecules being send out by the brain. In fact, the heart takes over and the brain goes into obedience to the heart under certain conditions. It is known for millennia, by deep thinkers, that the internal organs are aware. Just as the molecules in a glass of water are aware. (Japanese researcher, and NY Times best seller, Dr Emoto. Domo arigato, Dr Emoto.) The organs of the body desire and need recognition. And for damn sure deserve it. Just try focusing on them in gratitude and see if you dont feel better immediately. There arent too many things that you can do and feel the benefit of, immediately. If you have any questions about deep meditation, ask them here and I will address them.
