When the scripture says that God breathed upon Adam the breath of life. It doesnt mean that God blew air on Adam. Jesus tells us what happened. He says, the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life. He says the flesh profits nothing, it is the spirit that gives life In the law, or in the flesh, life is in the blood. But in the Spirit, life is in the word. God spoke to Adam and he became a living being. And that is exactly what He made you also, you are a speaking spirit. Your words can give life or cause death. Life and death are in the power of the tongue and those who know how to use it correctly will eat if its fruit. How do you use it correctly? You have to see life before you can speak life. All your life youve been trained by the senses to accept that what you see is more real than what you cant see. Now, through meditation, you must retrain your spirit to be caught up with the word into oneness with it, so that it becomes as it should be, the only thing truly in existence as far as your spirit is concerned. The Old Testament is a shadow of things of the spirit. As Israel was told that they will posses as far as their eyes can see, so also you will walk in the extent of Gods infinite nature that your spiritual eyes can see through the word of God. Meditate on the word of God!
