When the senses become attached to sense objects, one can never become happy, because the sense object will ultimately decay, and so your senses will be trying to find new sense objects, and they will also finally decay, so on and so on. Therefore one must give up sense gratification in order to realize the supreme personality of godhead, the cause of all causes, there is no possibility to focus when the senses constantly is attached to material overdue objects, such impersonal philosophy is the modern way, everyone, when they cannot enjoy their sense objects, they discard it and accumulate another, this is fact, this is the modern lowliness, thats all, that is their business, nothing else, they accumulate some tiny amount of wealth, and spend all of it on their sense obejcts to satisfy the senses only, but the ignorance lies in, that all the objects are temporary, they are not eternal nor very pleasing, often people has multiple of sense objects like another spare car, another Television, another smartphone, another this, another that, this is the desiease of this age, known as the age of needless conversations, and needless objects ect. (Just a few of MANY others) so these sense pleasing objects cannot make the fallen conditioned soul happy at any stage, because the nature of the spirit soul is eternal, and this gross material world is temporary, therefore one must realize that we are not this material body, we are not this machine of blood and bones and brain and stomach, and our consciousness is not created with this machine, the consciousness is sepperate from our machine, a boy becomes a teen, a teen becomes a man, a man becomes an elder, an elder becomes a senior, so there is these processes of changing body, even when the boy has becomed a senoir, still feel his consciousness is the same as when he was a boy, the consciousness does not age, only the gross body, so, this is spiritual realization, I am not this body, so what am I? the eternal spirit soul is a part and parcel, a fragment of the supreme personality of godhead Krsna, and is eternally manifest, sometimes the soul has fallen into the material world of illusion or birth and death, and so the spirit soul suffer a great amount of pain, being born in many different bodies, life after life, so this is what we are trying to stop, this Krsna Consciousness movement, is trying to stop the process of eated birth and death, and finally return home back home to godhead or Sri Krsna.
