When the sickness was so bad on Wednesday night or Thursday, forget now, all a blur, I told Patrick I needed Mozart, right now, :) You lose your taste for techno and Babymetal when youre near death, lol. So Pat dials this one up on the TV and it was just mesmerizing. So intensely beautiful. But was also comforting to see good Pope Benedict in attendance, and I thought what an incredible honor for Hilary Hahn here, to solo before the Holy Father like this, to visit him utterly transfixed like this, transported to another place.
