When the state Government banned motorcycles, they found out that they had overrated the capacity of Keke Napeps available, they found out that they were not enough to serve the metropolis. Now number of Talba buses that used to serve students had to be reduced drastically to Just three and one of them broke down today. The many others have been redeployed into town to cover up for the insufficient keke napeps. This causes a big queue at the bus park every morning, it does not matter how early you arrive with your money in hand, the lack of buses is evident and besides youll still end up in the traffic jam at the narrow Kpakungu passage. The painful part is that students in 100, 200 and 300 levels are missing tests everyday and no one is listening to their complaints. We now have to fight our way into the bus which will eventually be overloaded three times its normal capacity. Minna is not as developed as Abuja or Lagos where you find clear road links and cabs at every street, the ban on Bikes has created a void and indeed made life miserable for the student community. We voted Talba into office twice, is this his way of saying thank you? Why do the students have to suffer after every government decision?!
