When the vet called last night to check on Sunny, I said that my only concern was that he seemed cold. There was no straw at all, in the barn where I found him. I said that I have piles of straw, blankets and a heat lamp going, but he seems to not be aware of how to nest, since he often sleeps away from the warm pile. This afternoon, when he went back to his stall, I saw that he had buried his body into the straw. This is the first time that hes shown that he can nest in almost a week. So happy... Heres video proof, that he has started eating. Hes even nudging the hens away, so clearly, his appetite is coming back!
