When the world makes fun of you for being obedient to God’s word don’t get caught up in the drama! So I answered them and said to them, “The God of heaven will give us success; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no portion, right or memorial in Jerusalem. – Nehemiah 2:20 Nehemiah didn’t allow their ridiculing to keep them from doing what he knew God had called them to do. He addressed their mocking with confidence, courage and boldness because He knew His God! He reminded the enemy that they had no right in Jerusalem. Jerusalem belonged to the God and the people of God. Don’t focus on the voices around you! Keep on walking with your head held high, continuing in what He has called you to do!
