When there is good then comes bad. After 3 hours of cleaning the weight room floor, we came in this morning and chalk was all over the place. Not only did they spill the chalk, then just stepped all through it and continued to lift. After reviewing the camera which takes time and causes aggrevation, the member have been called and reprimanded for this mess. If chalk continues to be an issue which is plainly written on the signs back there, chalk will be like cocain, it will not be allowed in this gym and you will be asked to leave permantly. That mess can go to our competitors. We take pride in having the biggest and nicest weight room in the area. It was never designed to be hard core full of mess. As of today you can have chalk but its like the mud, its your responsibility to keep it off the floor. They make many substitues for chalk and acutally have a liquid chalk (more expensive).
