And most have said that they receive a very different response from others depending on whether they say they’re from Alaska or The US. When you say you’re American when visiting another country, it can often elicit a pretty negative stereotype. But when people they say they’re Alaskan, they find that the people in other countries are much more receptive and become very eager to talk about The Last Frontier.
