I saw a recent film clip of the US National team being entertained by the Stanford marching band. Half the players had out their i-phones recording the performance. Whatever happened to just being there and taking it in? Is every experience in life to be harvested and drug back to one’s cave before being digested? My granddaughters came to visit and rented a movie, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. I wasn’t going to watch, but I did.
