When trimming the shrubbery this past weekend, noticed wasp activity in one of our tall shrubs. After 5 evenings of spraying the shrub , decided to get up at 4 AM today to start cutting down this shrub to get to the nest. Wearing protective clothing, gloves, my hubbys motorcycle helmet and new found bravery .. found the softball size nest. With the exception of 2 wasps returning to the now gone nest .. that was all the activity. Now this shrub can start anew after cutting it down to size. Very relieved its gone!!
