When trying to cut body fat, dont be in such a rush to cut calories. Cutting calories is just one way to create a negative energy balance of the many tools. I actually recommend keeping the calories the same especially for the first little while and increasing your work output. More HIIT, more volume based training, 2x a day workouts etc. When I diet down for a show or photoshoot I actually consume about 30% more calories than when Im just maintaining as my training frequency, intensity and work output goes up. I have many clients that ended their show prep on the same amount of calories that they started with, and some even finished on more. like for more daily tips
