When u are criticized u are not ignored….dont run away from people talkin about u… they are talkin about u because u draw attention and people who draw attention will also draw criticism… ..the only way u can avoid all criticism is to do notin,..and end up bein nowhere…. the moment u raise ur hand and say I am going to do sometin…I can guarantee u somebody is not goin to agree wit wat u goin to do….somebody is not goin to be supportive of wat u tryin to do …somebody is goin to try to assassinate wat u are tryin to do…– and yet u got to have the commitment, the courage, calling, the tenacity and the character to be able to withstand the onslaught that is goin to come against u inorder for u to proceed to ur destiny…towards ur purpose in life …u will tink if u are a truly a good person and u are really trying to do sometin truly positive for ur people and ur community..u will tink u will be validated in wat u are tryin to do by everybody if u are truly good…..if u are tryin to do a good tin for the people .. people will support and u will be validated by everybody if u are truly good…..but it is not so! But this is Jesus bein criticized because he was doin the good tin…the right time and for the positive reasons I am amazed at the people who allow criticism to shut down their assignments…………who shrink into their depth of depression, who walk away from wat they ave been called to do simply because everybody did not validate and support them and so they simply gave up! …. I will be audacious to say u dont deserve the right to live when u walk away from wat u are doin just becos someone didn’t agree with u ….- TD Jakes
