When voting in an election, is it OK to write ABSTAIN as a write-in candidate? How is such a think likely to be counted? There are three names on the Virginia ballot for governor, I dont like or even tolerate *any* of them. I want to vote, in essence, none of the above. I know that numerically it will be a wasted vote, but, Im supposed to vote my conscience, and my conscience is saying that none of these guys are right for the job. If this were like the search committee for an opening ay my workplace, I would be saying we need to look at more applicants, because none of these are right. I suspect this will be a recurring issue for a while, given the state of our political engine. OK, enough of that.
