When was the last time you FELT THANKFUL IN YOUR HEART?? Im not talking about the last hundred times you said thank you......Im talking about recognizing our blessings and truly feeling thankful.....:) What really helps me is to LIST my blessings. Im thankful for TONS of things if I give it the thought I should....:) Im thankful for the heater at my feet. Im thankful for hot showers!! Im thankful for my soft blanky that Shanna made for me. He led her to do that!! Im thankful for every meal - because so many are hungry!!! Im thankful for SOAP.....yeah, soap is such an awesome thing!! Im thankful for inside bathroom facilities....because Ive also had to use an outhouse!! Im thankful I dont own a house anymore......:) That thing was a noose around our necks. Im thankful my car is reliable and paid for.......even though I just gave it to Natalee. Now Im driving the old truck.....but its also paid for so I am thankful!!! It gets me where I need to go, and even hauls all the grandkids.....:) Im thankful for CHOCOLATE!!! Im thankful for Thanksgiving - for seeing all of my family together in one place. Im thankful for my family. Im thankful Jesus died for me!! Im thankful He puts up with a total loser like me!!! If I was God, I probably would have fried myself. Im thankful He is GOOD....so merciful and kind!! If He was bad, we would be in serious trouble!! Im thankful for Rickys pug.....shes a sweet little thing. Im thankful for my christmas lights......they fill my heart with JOY......:) Im thankful for the peace in my heart while the world is crumbling around me. Im thankful that I dont have to fear death. Im thankful that I dont have to be afraid of anything!!! Im thankful that we are almost at the finish line!! Im thankful that I have HOPE in my heart for the things to come - because we are going to see some very scary things before this is all over. I could go on and on and on with my list.......time without end!! As I make my list, I start realizing how MUCH I truly have to be thankful for, and Im ashamed that I ever allow a single complaint to ever cross my lips. A THANKFUL HEART IS A HAPPY HEART........:) TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIND YOUR THANKFULNESS AND HAPPY HEART!!!!
