When was the last time you changed out your Mascara? There is truth to the old rule that you throw your mascara every two to three months, but as the years past some of the reasons have changed. At first, the main concern was that the product simply dried up. As mascara formulas started to improve, so did its shelf life which started a whole new set of problems, bacteria build up. For years there were a considerable number of serious eye infections especially among teen aged ladies, as they tended to pass a mascara wand around to each other at the mirrors of the ladies room between classes. But all of you know that you never share a mascara, so we really dont need to go into that. In todays world of highly developed mascara fine cosmetic companies will offer mascaras in a variety of formulas and colors. Most consumers choose their mascara according to the products ability to thicken and/or lengthen their lashes and not for some of the lash benefits the product has to offer. Each formula will also contain all sorts of vitamins , minerals and all sorts of other goodies that actually help prevent hair loss, breakage and fading. I suggest trying a different formula every now and then to receive the lash health benefits each has to offer. Note: remember to thoroughly clean your mascara wand about once a week. Just a thought.
