When we all got sick agsin in july, I finally gave up on trying to get makenzie to sleep in the rocking chair. She started fighting me and would cry if I held her or cry when I put her down. So, I started just putting her in her crib (which is just feet from my bed) and going to bed myself. At first, it was very traumatic, balling for 30 minutes, trying to reach for me, climb out, etc then falling asleep and waking up a few hours later. Well, my little darling is finally sleeping through the night 10 hours or more. Last night she slept a full 12 hours, it was like heaven on earth!!!
