When we allow even the smallest of appreciations a place in our center, we experience non-resistance, and in that moment we allow ourselves the process of recognizing our true selves...our highest self. Im not one for assigning names to experiences because it in some ways narrows them, but in my own experience and when Ive had students and clients talk about this deep feeling of recognition...I often think of it in this way; nature abhors a vacuum and so in moments of deep appreciation and our lessened resistance to our own true nature, we create a vacuum, a space previously blocked by a negative emotion. So in the absence of that negative emotion, the one you have just let flow through you in particular, your own source energy rushes in and fills that space. Hold that and feel deeply into it, because as you experience deeper and deeper appreciation for your life and its full spectrum of experiences you will create a much broader perspective of this experience in the physical. Its my feeling and my experience that this a good path toward opening ourselves to our natural mind, our vulnerability and the joy of knowing that this life in the physical is just a small part of a much larger journey.
