When we arrived in Carthage life flight was just arriving. Zachary headed out so that he could be with his son in Peoria sooner. I got to hold Everett s hand and talk to him a bit. Then things got dicey. They thought his lung collapsed they were trying to intibate him but there was too much blood and mucus. There was a lot of running around and one nurse ran for the pediatric crash cart. It was intense for a while and we didnt know what was going on. Then it calmed. His lung didnt collapse. He still has a lot of bloody mucus but as they keep it sucked out he keeps fussing and breathing without help. He has oxygen and he was finally stable enough to transport. The last thing they did was give sage a chance to touch him. They told her they would call as soon as he lands. Now we wait. Sage is quiet but her spirits are high. She just wants to heal quickly so she can be with her son.
