When we choose to take up music as our profession, be it full time - TopicsExpress

When we choose to take up music as our profession, be it full time or part time hobby. We dont look for fame or money because that my friend we are not getting it here in Nagaland, never. Its the love of music and what we do that drives us. Some lucky few have made it far beyond the state and are doing so well, (Alobo Naga & the Band, Tetseo Sisters, Purple Fusion to name a few) Ask any one of them and their answer will be the same- like Bro Alobo in a recent interview said people outside the state are more supportive of them and their music rather than our own people. All we are good at is trying to get some attention by making jokes about this and that artiste and to the extend of coming up with intolerable pictures and memes. What is even more worse is going to the extend of branding musicians who are doing well as Local celebrities. I repeat nobody is into music profession for fortune & fame, its the love for music and if you dont love their music, dont listen, but atleast dont go around abusing or hating. If you dont like it doesnt give you the right to hate it either. And as for the local -celebrity thing, one must be a local wannabe for branding such names. Please support, dont hate.
