When we go through a protracted period of difficulties and struggles. We pare our expectations that our friends may not go the long haul. They would initially try to offer solutions, but few would stay to fight. Hence, many carry the mentality of a Lone Ranger. They felt lonely, constantly dismayed. They may even feel that God has abandoned them. But God is not a man, He does not abandon us. God promised us, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9. You may be struggling with your career, sickness or bondages. The good news is that your journey is not lonely. Even when you go through the valley of death, His unseen staff and rod will guide and protect you from death. Be strong and courageous, our victory will soon be.
