When we got the news yesterday that Ricky has to have surgery on his hand from his Baseball Injury,I was upset. Really upset:( 5-7 weeks with pins in his hand and another cast up to his elbow. No sports camps at school and out for the rest of his summer SI Impact Baseball Team. Then I do my daily search to read about this amazing brave little boy with the biggest most contagious smile, and it puts it all back into perspective! Brandt, you continue to help people all over the country, realize what is important and to never give up fighting for anything! And you are how old----seriously! You will forever impact the lives of so many people in our daily world, but more important, to other kids and families who might suffer through a similar tragic illness. And to your wonderful parents---WOW, all I can say is that I could not be so strong. We love you and continue to pray for you Big B!
