When we got to the park, they had us at the wrong place, no stands, no chairs, no drum kit ... Wind Ensemble could not perform . On Hold was able to do so, but only with the help of the Wind Ensemble kids who held their music and played roadies. Our percussionists were amazing, and put a kit together with various object such as garbage cans. Their ability to make this work had so much to do with what they have been taught by their band director, John Grabowski ... the performances did not turn out as expected, but what an amazing shared experience, and some awesome memories!
