When we grieve the lost in our lives that past too early,God gave us memories that sustain us ,those closets we closed need to be opened in pain we need to grab and hold onto the movies in our minds,today I was fortunate enough to spend the day with my sister Rita who now is becoming a true friend,alone tonight and my dear mother Loretta who past in 1996 the day before her 63 birthday is there with me and my memories she made raising four of us look easy, you know its because she Loved us , I left the house at 16 and I thought I was a man then,little did I know ,anyway this song was her favorite she sang it morning noon and night,on her knees scrubbing the kitchen floor,washing windows or clothes,cooking all she did she would sing it over and over for years over and over the one and only song she sang and God rest her soul she was right ...Those Were The Days
