When we hear Obama speak so intelligently & reason like a complete lovable human being, and when we admire the David Cameron of this world spill out so much common sense & sound logic, Nigerians have to ask themselves why Nigerians with these qualities are never at the helm of affairs leading our country. Well the answer lies in how important leadership is to us. And if we truly care about looking for intellectual accomplishments from our universities and place high premium on excellent reasoning abilities....... Do we honestly think we can build a world class nation with half-baked, thuggish & mis-educated citizenry.....?? While Harvard, Oxford & great institutions of the world are turning out super-duper leaders, one has to wonder why our once-great tertiary institutions arent fulfilling their much needed societal roles..!!!
