When we hear that Campbellsville is prosperous and that our economy is growing, perhaps it would be responsible to look at two important items: 1) Income per worker 2) What kinds of jobs are being created Its hard to boast about prosperity when real wages are on the decline and the jobs created are low paying, service sector jobs. I think when the government gets fiscally responsible, more industry is attracted, higher paying jobs are filled, and the average worker can purchase their own house; maybe then we can start discussing prosperity and growth.
