When we realize that we are all part of the Body because God makes us part of the Body, then I can be in unity with those who see things differently than I do, who interpret scripture differently than I do, who worship in a building with another name on the door than is on mine, that worship in homes and despise buildings, that drink from one cup or multiple little ones, that...well you get the point. We have decided that to be in unity we all have to think, talk, act and believe exactly like someone who lived years ago has decided I have to think, talk, act and believe (and I am not talking about Jesus here). That is why I can have unity with believers who worship in the Presbyterian Church, who worship in the Brethren Church, etc. Why, I can even have unity with a Roman Catholic! How, because if we are both in Christ, then we are members of one body and one Spirit. I dont have to make up a check list of how things are done and ask 20 questions to know if you are my brother. Your faith in Jesus and His adding you to His church makes you my brother. Hallelujah! There are no man made entrance exams we have to pass to qualify for His church. ~ Bob Roberson Amen, Bob....Well said!
